Popular young actress Parvathy had criticised actor Mammootty and his movie ‘Kasaba’ while talking to a reporter during the just concluded IFFK 2017.

She had criticised the movie and the anti-feminist dialogues delivered by the actor. Nevertheless, Mammootty fans have taken it as their duty to give a reply to the young actress through her Facebook page. Now, her Facebook page is over flowing with obscene remarks and foul language used against her.

Noted writer Saradakutty and script writer Deedi Damodaran have reacted to this incident.

Saradakutty has said that it’s not just Mammootty against whom voice must be raised but against all the Mammootties in general. She went on to say that other actors like Mohanlal and Dileep are no different when it comes to taking an anti-feminist stance. She also said that she is not just with Parvathy but with all such Parvathies around.

Meanwhile, Deedi Damodaran has said that she is pained by the silence maintained by the superstar on the issue. She added that the actor must stand with people like Parvathy who fights for the dignity of women, and not with his fans who act like criminals.
