KANNUR: Youth Congress leader T H Shuhaib was murdered with the knowledge of CPM Kannur district leadership, said KPCC vice-president V D Satheesan MLA. CPM district secretary P Jayaraj was aware of it, Satheesan said while inaugurating the 24 hour long hunger strike staged by Kannur DCC president Satheesan Pacheni.

The CPM should clarify whether Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was aware of the murder. If the chief minister is not aware of it, then steps should be taken against district secretary P Jayaraj, who planned the murder, within 24 hours. Killer groups have been formed in the district for the murders. Even the known terrorist organizations of the world do not carry out such cruel and organized murders. Even ISIS groups will surrender before the CPM if they know the manner Shuhaib was murdered, the MLA said.

The CPM should put an end to their politics of murder. Pacheni is on strike seeking the arrest of Shuhaib’s culprits.
