MALAPPURAM: A man and his three-year-old grandson were killed when their car collided with a tourist bus at Randathani in the district. The dead has been identified as Dominic alias Tommy aged 55, a native of Aanayandamkari and his grandson Dan George. Dominic’s wife Mercy (50) and his son-in-law George (31) sustained injuries.

The accident happened Tuesday early morning at 1.30 am. The car in which they were travelling collided with the bus coming from the opposite direction. The injured has been admitted at a private hospital in Kottakkal. The incident happened when they were proceeding to Mercy’s family house in Thiruvalla. Dominic’s daughter, mother of Dan, is working abroad.
