CHENGANNUR: BDJS leader Thushar Vellappally has alleged that the BJP leaders tried to insult him. He added that the BJP was using him for the benefit of other BJP leaders, and that the BDJS did not get any place in any boards or corporations because of some BJP leaders.

Earlier there were reports that the BJDS would end their alliance with the BJP as the party was convinced that there is no use in continuing with a party that did not stand for social justice. Thushar came up with criticisms against the BJP under this circumstance.

It is reported that the BJDS meeting to be convened in Alappuzha on Wednesday would take the final call on matters including severing ties with the BJP. Today’s meeting will also decide on the stance to be taken regarding the Chengannur bypoll.
