Dileep is happy about the acceptance he has got from the public for his latest historical film Kamarasambahavam. He is abroad attending promotional events for the film. In between, an interview he gave to an FM radio channel  has become viral.

Dileep’s daughter Meenakshi had earlier said in an interview that she didn’t want to become a film artiste like her parents. “Meenakshi wants to be a doctor. For that she had written the NEET exam. She says she has written everything very neatly. She is awaiting the result with prayers,” Dileep said.

Dileep said that he works in a field where he can take his own decision on when to retire. “But in her case, I have told her that there would be no Mr  or Ms in front of her name but only Dr and hence she should be very careful. I have reminded her about this,” he said.
Through the thick and thin of his life, Meenakshi had stood by him. Incidentally, Dileep released photos of her 18th birth anniversary celebration only a few months ago.
