THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former chief minister Oommen Chandy has said that Saritha Nair’s letter was the crux of the Solar Commission report and now with the Kerala High Court ordering to remove it from the report, the Solar report itself has become irrelevant.

“There was no other evidence against me except for that letter. Now, let the people evaluate the government’s actions based on the Solar report,” he said.

He added that he will not take up any official duty or position based on the verdict by the court.

Oommen Chandy also said that the Karnataka Assembly election results will nto affect the outcome of the upcoming Chengannur bypolls.
