KOCHI: A migrant labourer was injured while two others had a narrow escape when a piece of land caved in at the construction site of a multi-storey building at Kakkanad.

The land caved in when three labourers were engaged in digging the land and setting up iron roads as part of construction of the basement of the commercial building at Chittettukara in Kakkanad, the police said. An employee identified as Lakshmanan (20) was injured. The Infopark police registered a case against the private builder.
