Police Officer’s role has always come in handy for mega star Mammootty. Again he is taking up that role in a new film. He will don Khaki again in the film ‘Unda’ to be directed by Khalid Rahman, after his first movie Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. The shoot of the film will start in September.

Meanwhile, cameraman Jimshi Khalid, who was also part of Anuraga Karikkinvellam, said the script work of the film is in its last leg and the name of the film could not be disclosed now.

The crew is also not ruling out chances for re-christening the film. The director has said the film is being made based on a true incident in life.

Khalid Rahman just said Mammootty would be a policeman in the film. Nothing more he said. His first film had Biju Menon, Asif Ali and Rajeesha Vijayan in important roles. The film released in 2016 was a super hit. Through that he also won the State award for the best actress.
