       Dileep seeks CBI inquiry in actress attack case

KOCHI: Actor Dileep has approached High Court with the plea that the actress attack case should be investigated by CBI . Dileep also pointed out in the plea that the police investigation was partial and that he was trapped by the police. Dileep claims that he was arrested on the basis of the statement given by a gang member who attacked the actress. Dileep also mentions in the plea that he was made an accused owing to pressure from different sources, and without any evidence.

The actress was kidnapped and attacked on a moving car in Kochi on February 17th last year . Dileep spend 85 days in jail in the conspiracy case charged against him. After that he was released. On November 22nd special investigation team submitted their crime file report at the Angamali  Judicial First Class Magistrate court. The crime file report states that the belief that the actress was responsible for ruining the married life with Manju Warrier provoked him to give quotation and it was just a personal revenge. The case trial is going to start at sessions court
