THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Continuing his criticism against Congress in Kerala, senior Congress leader V M Sudheeran said on Wednesday that the Congress in Kerala was working against the stands of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who had taken such a stand to strengthen the Congress.

“The State Congress’ decision to give Rajya Sabha seat to Kerala Congress M was unethical and a Himalayan blunder.
Those with some common sense can’t accept the decision to reduce the UPA’s strength in Rajya Sabha. The backlash of this will be severe,” he said at the press conference.

Sudheeran hinted at the possibility of K M Mani moving towards the BJP camp in the future. “Can the Kerala Congress M give assurance that they will not leave the UDF? The failure of the Congress to get such an assurance is its flaw. When the RSP decided to join the UDF, the matter was discussed within the Front. But, in the Rajya Sabha seat issue, just three leaders took the decision. It was the general agenda to prevent Congress from getting the seat,” he said.

Sudheeran said BJP is India’s curse and Modi is a liability for people. “The Central leadership headed by Rahul Gandhi has been trying to oust BJP during the next Lok Sabha election but the State leaders have been trying to sabotage this efforts”.
