KOCHI: Police suspect that three accused in the murder of Maharajas College Student Abhimanyu might have left the country.
They are believed to have used fake passport to go abroad. This may put the State police in a fix as they had given alert instruction in airports only after five days.

The accused are suspected to have left the country before that. If that has happened, it may depicted as the flaw of the police.
The initial assumption is that the accused might have gone to Hyderabad by road and from there to foreign land via flight.
Meanwhile, police said that there would be more arrests in the case. Police have not let out information about persons in their custody.

Police have procured the CCTV visuals of accused, talking to an auto-driver. The vehicle they used and their owners have been identified. The accused had abandoned their vehicles after the murder and before leaving the place.

Four two-wheeler vehicles registered under Thrippuniithura Sub-RTO, three vehicle under Mattancherry and one vehicle under Kothamangalam were seized.

Eight two-wheelers were found to be registered under the names of P M Rajeeb, H M Sahal, T D Sidharathan, P H Saneesh, Aman Maidheen, N K Khalid, Shahid Rasaq and K M Thanseel.
