NEW DELHI: Aamir Khan's home production, Aamir Khan Productions and T-Series are all set to release a movie based on the life of music composer the founder of the T-Series music label, Gulshan Kumar.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the news.

He wrote, "BIG NEWS... Aamir Khan Productions and T-Series to release Gulshan Kumar biopic in Christmas 2019... Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor... Filming to begin early next year."

Meanwhile, Aamir is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie 'Thugs Of Hindostan', which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. Khan's production house will also release the Hindi version of Kamal Hassan's 'Vishwaroopam 2.'

The film is slated for a Diwali release this year.
