I cannot understand from this article what is the alternative of Nuclear power to meet the energy demand of 130 core Indians.  It is very easy to protest every thing and close. Some medias are very much interested to protest each and every thing and always supporting anti-development elements without suggesting any alternative solutions on their article. Our nuclear scientists are having more knowledge on this nuclear issue than the editor of this article. Nuclear issue should be handled by nuclear scientist and not by fisherman, media or priests.  Solar and wind power cannot meet the energy demand of 130 core Indians. It may be possible in Germany to close nuclear plants. Furthermore, solar and wind power is very costly and the medias will write another editorial to protest on the cost of solar and wind electric power charge. In India, if you start a Chicken house also, some people and media will protest on that.

I am staying near to a nuclear power plant and myself and my family not faced any radiation problem. Instead, my area is in fast development because of this nuclear power plant and the associated infrastructure what they have provided here.

Mobile phones are creating radiation, why not making an editorial and asking people not to use mobile phones? Kudankulam plant should not compare with 60 year old Fukshima plant.

Kudankulam plant is the most modern plant and to be commissioned urgently to meet 130 core Indians energy demand. In India we (people and media) have freedom to make strike, protest, hartal etc and we are misusing that freedom.
