Applications have been invited for admission to the junior diploma course in cooperation (JDC) conducted at the cooperative training centres at Kuravankonam (ph: 0471 2436689), Avannur (0474 2454787), Aranmula (0468 2278140), Cherthala (0478 2813070), Nagambadam (0481 2564738), Pala (0482 2213107), North Paravur (0484 2447866), Ayyanthole (0487 2380462), Palakkad (0491 2522946), Tirur (0494 2423929), Tali (0495 2702095), Kannur (0497 2706790), Karani (04936 289725), and Chengala (04994 207350). Those who have passed SSLC or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply. Age limit: 16-40 as on June 1, 2012 (upper age limit is 45 for those belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes and 50 for employees of cooperative societies). Applications forms and prospectus can be had from these training centres on payment of Rs.30 (Rs.10 for those belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes). The filled applications should be submitted to the respective cooperative training centres before March 31. The junior diploma is the minimum qualification required for appointment to the clerical cadre in the cooperative sector.
