KOCHI: After making its entry into the Limca and Guinness Books of Records, Aries Punnamada Chundan is in limelight again by entering the Asia Book of Records. Aries Punnamada Chundan holds the record for 'Longest Steel Boator Snake Boat'. It measures 143.25 ft, 5.74 ft wide and weighs eight tonnes carrying a canoe crew of 141 members.

The Aries Chundan was conceived and designed by Sohan Roy, CEO, Aries Group of Companies. The snake boat's strength, durability and scientific design is what makes it stand apart from other traditional snake boats. The steel snake boat is also regarded as 'Unsinkable'.
