KOTTAYAM: A 32-year-old man who had been suffering from leptospirosis died on Friday.

According to the officials of the District Medical Office, the dead has been identified as P J Peter of Marottikkala house in Cheruvandoor near Ettumanoor. Meanwhile, a total of 641 cases of fever were reported from various parts of the district on Friday. In addition, 29 cases of Acute Diarrhoeal Disease (ADD) and one suspected case of dengue from Poonjar were also reported, health authorities said.
