ALAPPUZHA: The observance of the first anniversary of the UDF government as well as the district-level inauguration of various development schemes was held here on Saturday. Union Minister of State for Power K C Venugopal inaugurated the development activities and gave away the aids under the Central Family Welfare Scheme. Minister for Forests and Sports K B Ganesh Kumar inaugurated the district-level launch of the celebrations of the first anniversary of the UDF government and distribution of benefits and aids under State welfare schemes. P C Vishnunath, MLA, presided over the function.
