THRISSUR: Some of the forensic files which went missing from the Thrissur Government Medical College were recovered on Saturday. The papers related to Sampath murder case were found on a shelf in the laboratory of the Forensic Department, according to sources. In a letter to the Principal of the Medical College, former Head of the Forensic Medicine Department Sherley Vasu had written that 12 files, including some related to the Soumya and Sampath murder cases, were missing. It was alleged that intra-departmental issues had led to the incident. Search is on for the other missing files.
