KOCHI: Pointing out that the 'record voting percentage' of BJP candidate O Rajagopal in the recent bypoll at Neyyattinkara reflected the resentment of people because of the Congress-led UDF Government's appeasement of a particular community, BJP in Kerala said that the trend would continue in the coming elections, if the UDF Government continued this stand. Talking to reporters here, BJP State President V Muraleedharan indicated that the BJP would raise this kind of social discrimination and appeasement of a particular community by the ruling Congress-led UDF Government before the public. He also said that his party feels that if the UDF continued this kind of policy, the people in the state would give more 'shock treatment to it in the coming days.' Regarding the decision of the government to provide financial help to C H Mohammed Koya Centre, run by IUML, he said it was nothing but effort to swindle state treasury.
