KOTTAYAM: J A Chacko, one of the founding members of the Kerala Congress who had represented the now extinct Akalakunnam Assembly segment for a decade, is no more. He was 86. A lawyer, Chacko had entered Kerala Congress politics through the Liberation Struggle and represented Akalakunnam segment for a decade from 1967. After retirement from active politics Chacko had been an active member of Pala Bar.
