KOLLAM: Three men were killed in a head-on collision between a mini lorry and a car on the National Highway at Kavanad on Sunday at 10.45 pm. Those killed were travelling in the car. The dead were identified as Vishnu, Kalesh, and Sunno Xavier, all residents of Shakthikulangara in Kollam city. At least four persons were injured in the accident and they have been admitted to two private hospitals in the city. Traffic through the Kavanad course of the highway came to a standstill for more than an hour because of the accident. The Kavanad police have registered a case.
