THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Girl students have cornered the top three ranks of the B.Com. examinations, the results of which were published. Of the 10,899 students who wrote the examinations, only 3,509 passed. This year’s pass percentage--32.19 is lower than that of last year’s, which stood at 32.63. The first rank went to Nisha Raju of Bishop Moore College, Mavelikkara; second rank to R. Anantha Lakshmy of College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram; and third rank to Melsa C. Thomas of Mar Ivanios College. Mark lists would be sent, before July 19, to the centres from where the candidate had appeared for the examination. Additional mark lists would be issued only after this date. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny should be submitted before August 17, a press note added.
