KOZHIKODE: A Magistrate Court here issued a warrant for producing CPI (M) Kannur District Secretariat member Karayi Rajan in connection with the murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party Leader T P Chandrasekharan. Vatakara First Class Magistrate M Suhaib issued the production warrant to the Special Investigation Team probing the case to produce him before the court at 1100 hrs on Thursday. Rajan, facing trial by a CBI Court in the 2006 murder of National Development Front Worker Mohammed Fazal too, was arrested by the SIT at Kakkanad, near Kochi, two days ago. He was accused of aiding Sijith alias Annan Sijith, who was injured accidently while executing the murder of Chandrasekharan, to get medical treatment in a hospital at Kuthuparamba in Kannur.
