THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi said the Congress party was thinking of a complete revamp in the run up to the next general elections in 2014. Talking to newspersons after releasing a book 'You Can be Billionaire Through Mind Power,' at the Press Club here, he said 'there should be proper discussions in the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) before comprehensive reconstitution of the party to avoid complaints from the workers.' 'There should not be any complaint after the revamp for which proper discussion is necessary,' he added. 'The revamp must take place from Mandalam level to State level. The reconstitution of the KPCC should be beneficial to the party,' he added. To a question on SNDP's decision to form a new political party in protest against alleged minority appeasement policies of the Congress-led UDF Government in the State, he said 'in a democratic set up, every organisation has the right to protect its interest.'
