ALAPPUZHA: The canteen of Alappzuha Medical College Hospital near here was sealed off indefinitely on instructions from Hospital Superintendent after a dead centipede was found in a parcel of porotta and potato curry bought from there. The food safety officer ordered the closure of the canteen till some maintenance work was over. All the food at the canteen was destroyed.
