MALAPPURAM: The Rasmi Film Society felicitated artiste Nilambur Aysha, who won this year’s state film award for the second best actress, at a function here on Tuesday. Poet P K Gopi inaugurated the function. He handed over the society’s memento to Aysha. Aysha said she realised the real meaning of drama and the real power of that medium when she was opposed by orthodox sections of society. Film society president Manamboor Rajanbabu presided.
