Mollywood may witness a rare case in Indian movie history.

The new Mollywood project by Tamil director Perarasu will be the biggest budgeted action thriller  in Mollywood.

A sequel to yesteryear's super hit movie 'Samrajyam', the movie will be titled ‘Son of Alexander' in which Prithviraj was reported as taking up the role of son of Alexander, the character played by Mammootty in the original.

According to the latest reports, Prithvi could not accept the offer due to  some issues, including some date problems, and Dulquar Salman, the star son of Mammootty is now being offered the role.

If this project comes about, the movie will have the credit of having for itself the rare case in which the actual star son taking up the role of the son of the character played by his father, in its sequel.
