Actor and producer Ajay Devgn has got a legal notice from Navkiran Singh, a senior lawyer, for hurting the religious sentiments of the Sikh community in his forthcoming movie Son of Sardar.

As per the notice sent by the lawyer, the official trailer of the movie on YouTube has elements which portray Sikhs in “bad light”.

Dialogues like “Had there been no Sikhs, who would have invented abuses like Teree Maan Dee-Teree Bhain Dee” and “In case Sardars would not have been there then on whom would the jokes be made” are prone to hurt the religious sentiments of the Sikh community and the lawyer has requested the actor to delete such dialogues from the movie in public interest.

The notice has given Ajay Devgn seven days to respond after which the lawyer plans to go for legal action on the criminal as well as civil side against Devgn and all others involved in this film.
