Debutante Uthara Unni is busy shuttling between the sets of her Mollywood and Kollywood ventures.
Lenin Rajendran's Edavapathy will launch this cute fresh face into Malayalam tinsel world while director A Venkatesh's 'Enakku Vaytha Nanbargal Ippadi'will be her stepping stone to Kollywood.
In 'Edavapathy' she will be playing a double role which, according to her, requires subtle expressions. She will be playing a modern girl who falls in love with a Buddhist monk and relates herself to the historical character Vasavadatta.
'Enakku' will see her as a college goer paired opposite actor Tejus and the flick will be an out and out commercial potboiler.
The film is directed by A Venkatesh, who played the villain in 'Angaditheru'.
