Actor Govind Padmasoorya  is all set to venture into advertisement production.

A degree holder in media management, the actor has teamed up with Aravind Venugopal, the State Award-winning producer of Adayalangal, to form an ad production firm.

About the behind the screen venture,  Padmasoorya said, "It was exciting as we both conceived, produced and directed it. Also, visual media has always fascinated me. This project is the next step in our career and we are hoping it would grow with us."

The actor says that the idea of starting a media company was born out of the discussions they had during their journey together for promoting Adayalangal in the festival circuit.

"There is a rising interest in Indian films post Slumdog Millionaire and discussions with the people provided valuable insights in understanding cinema. It also gave us the confidence to venture deep into visual media," he said.

Amidst the quest for pastures new, he affirms that his priority is to become a better performer.
