THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A special Cabinet Meeting accorded sanction for the Annual Financial Statement meant for 2013-14. Official sources here said five cents of land and house worth Rs 5 lakh will be given to the family of the three-year-old child who was raped in Tirur. The district collector has been instructed to provide temporary shelter for them. A sum of Rs 5 lakh each will be given to the family of Rajesh and Mahesh who were killed in an accident at Meenchantha by-pass in Kozhikode. Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has been given the charge of 'Minister in Waiting' as part of the President's visit to Kerala on March 16.
