       Thrissur RDO, driver die in accident

KOLLAM: The Thrissur RDO and his driver were killed when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a private bus. RDO Raveendran (52) and his driver N V Das (55) were the two killed in the accident.

The Bolero jeep proceeding to the capital city from Thrissur collided with the private bus coming from the opposite side near the Shakthikulangara police station on the national highway Monday morning at 8 am. 

Even though the two were taken to the district hospital, their lives could not be saved.  The bodies are kept in the mortuary of the hospital.

The incident happened when Raveendran was on his way to attend the official meeting in the capital city.
