THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Of the 148 High Schools in the state, which is going to get Plus Two course, 101 are in the private aided sector. The number of government schools is 47. There are 107 panchayats which do not have Higher Secondary schools and most of the applicants from these panchayats are private managements. Most of these schools lack facilities to start Plus Two course. They do not have sufficient class rooms, laboratories or toilet facilities.
