The Treasure in Sri Padmabhaswamy Temple

Oh! Padmanabha, you rest on treasure
whose value is beyond measure;
the self-less devotion of hearts so pure
Is all that you ever seem to care!

It is for the govt and all its men
To dig out the treasure from its Den
But as said in Gita, you remain ‘detached’
Only to devotees’ prayers you get ‘attached’.

It’s just the ‘Lotus’ that you love;
The flower of wisdom which can shove –
Darkness and Ignorance, and give us peace
Throughout our lives (which is on lease).

You saved the treasure from the foreigners –
It is time you saved it from the ‘schemers’…
Bless the Royal family..in you they’re ‘attached’
And From treasures they remain ‘detached’…
