TEXAS: The 162nd Jayanthi celebrations of Sree Narayana Guru under the auspices of Sree Narayana Guru Mission North Texas were celebrated on September 17 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Sree Guruvayurappan Temple Auditorium.

Thrivikraman led the guru pooja. Pramod Varikkath, president of the Guru mission welcomed the gathering. Kilimanoor Chandrababu, and KHS president Gopala Pillai delivered a lecture on the visions of Guru. Various cultural programmes were held. A dance performance of Daivadashakam and other cultural programmes led by Kalabhavan Jayan were held. There was an Onam sadya also. Santhosh Viswanathan expressed the vote of thanks.
