THRISSUR: Police have filed a case against Thrissur Peruvallur Mother College Principal Muhammed Salim based on the complaint that he made sexual references in his talks with a few girl students in the college. The case has been filed under various sections on charges of humiliating womanhood and threatening girl students.

A few students complained that the college principal in-charge had been misbehaving with them. “The principal summoned us to his room and humiliated us. He asked us certain private weird questions like why some funny sounds are coming out from our rooms and why light is seen always in our bathrooms,” the students alleged.

But the college authorities have dismissed the students’ allegation. The college authorities said the in-charge principal had talked to the girls in the presence of four senior teachers.

Meanwhile, some students in the college have started an indefinite strike, alleging harassment by the principal in charge.
