THRISSUR: Thrissur Peruvallur College in-charge Principal Muhammed Salim was on Friday removed from his post following the complaint that he made sexual remarks at some girl students of the college.

Students of the college had started stir over the issue. The action against Salim was taken to appease the students.  

A case has been registered against Salim for outraging the modesty of women and threatening them. The students have also complained against CCTV cameras installed all over the college.
