THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader V S Achuthanandan has said the government should retain the Kovalam palace in its possession.

In reply to a question, he said it is not right for an ineligible person to acquire government lands.  
But he skirted questions regarding BJP advocate Harish Salve appearing for Pinarayi Vijayan in the Lavalin case.
