KOCHI: A Moovattupuzha Vigilance court on Saturday ordered the police to file a case against I G Manoj Abraham on the basis of the complaint that he had amassed wealth disproportionate to his source of income and start investigation.  

The court’s order is in response to the complaint filed by Pathanamthitta Aranmula native Chandrasekharan Nair that Manoj Abraham has an illegal wealth of Rs 61.89 lakh.

The court asked the police to register an FIR in the case and get an officer with SP rank or above to investigate the case

The progress report of the investigation should be submitted to the court once in three months. Currently, Manoj is the chief of Kerala police’ Cyberdome.
