INDORE: Kings XI Punjab defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets in their 2017 Indian Premier League encounter at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Hashim Amla scored his second IPL fifty. Hashim Amla slammed his second IPL fifty while skipper Glenn Maxwell made an unbeaten 43 to guide Kings XI Punjab to a 8-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Earlier, AB De Villiers’ 46-ball-89 took Royal Challengers Bangalore to 148/4 in 20 overs. Varun Aaron took two wickets while Sandeep Sharma and Axar Patel claimed one each to put pressure on the visitors. RCB sprung a huge surprise as they replaced Chris Gayle with Proteas star AB De Villiers who will be playing his first IPL 2017 game.
