KASARGOD: A 60-year-old man was remanded in judicial custody in connection with the alleged sexual abuse on a three-year-old girl. Kuruvilla alias Kuttappan, a resident of Thattenganam colony falling under the Chittarikkal police station limits, was rounded up following a complaint lodged by the girl’s family that he had sexually abused the minor when she was playing on her residential premises.  The senior citizen, charged under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offices (POCSO) Act 2012, was remanded in 15 days custody by the Kasaragod district sessions court, exclusively trying sexual assault cases against minor girls, Vellarikundu police Circle Inspector M V Sunil Kumar said.
