KOCHI: A 15-year-old boy, who was hit by a speeding private bus near Kuzhupilli bridge at Vypeen, succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in the wee hours of Tuesday as angry residents resorted to blocking of traffic demanding strict action against the “killer buses”.

Ghanasham (15), son of Gokulnath Pai, was returning home from a barber shop on his cycle when a speeding private bus, coming through the wrong lane to escape the traffic jam at Kuzhupilli bridge, hit him on Monday. He was rushed to a private hospital in Ernakulam but succumbed to his injuries in the wee hours of Tuesday.
