‘Premam’ fame Sai Pallavi’s Tamil debut was a topic of much discussion.

With the actress backing out from many projects including ones with top actors like Vikram and Karthi, her debut in her own mother tongue almost looked like jinxed.

Recent news was that she was the heroine opposite Madhavan in the remake of Malayalam hit movie ‘Charlie’ by A L Vijay. But the director had said that he’s not going to work on that project soon but instead is going to make a horror movie.

Putting end to all speculations, the latest news has it that Sai Pallavi will play the lead in A L Vijay’s women-centric horror movie. The shooting for the movie titled ‘Kaaru’ will commence once the director’s ‘Vanamagan’ hits the silver screens.
