THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has said that the LDF who made R Balakrishna Pilla as the chairman of State Forward Communities Welfare Corporation, must apologize to the public. This is because the LDF had previously mocked at UDF government when they gave the same position to Pilla.

He said that it is completely in the discretion of the ruling government to make whoever they wish as the chairman of the corporation but the LDF must explain the justice behind this decision.

He further added that the public is anxious to know the opinion of V S Achuthananthan, who vehemently opposed the same then, on this decision by the government.
