THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On behalf of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Minister A K Balan said in the Assembly on Friday that instructions would be given to district collectors to see that no inconvenience is caused to people who transport sand legally.

In reply to C Krishnan’s attention calling motion, the minister said that the proposal to use sand deposits in dams for construction to resolve sand shortage was under consideration. But he said permit won’t be given to illegal land transport.
