THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State General Secretary K Surendran on his Facebook page has countered Devaswom board minister Kadakampally Surendran’s criticism against BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan for travelling with the prime minister on Kochi Metro train on Saturday.

“SPG knows how to take care of the security matters of the prime minister. Kadakampally need not worry about it. It is the prime minister’s office which will decide on who all should take part in the prime minister’s function. There is a limit to talking nonsense. During the trial run of the Kochi Metro, the chief minister travelled with CPM Ernakulam district secretary P Rajiv by his side. The picture of this also appeared in PRD’s ad. It these people who are speaking loud about protocol. This is a kind of mental disease. They are showing to Kummanam what they had shown to Modi long ago. This leads me to think that M M Mani is far better than Kadakampally,” he says.
