The announcement of the debut of Mohanlal's son Pranav in cinema happened on Wednesday.
In the formal function held at Taj Vivanta, director Jeethu Joseph declared the the much-awaited cinema entry of Pranav.
The tagline of the film titled Aadhi is Some lies can be deadly.
Pranav will be doing the title role
Antony Perumbavoor is producing the film under the banner of Aashirvadh films. The facebook poster of the film was also released.
This will be Jeethu Joseph's nineth film."Now I'm having tension which Ii didn't have when i did my all previous films.Wherever I go, people ask me about Pranav's role and film story. Antony has extended me all support," he said.
Earlier, Pranav had debuted as child artiste in Punarjani for which he got best child actor State film award. In Mohanlal's Onnaman he had acted.  Moreover, he assisted Jeethu Joseph in directing Papanasam and Life of Josekutty.
The puja of Mohanlal starrer Odiyan was also held at the occasion.
