THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI inquiring into mysterious death of actor Kalabhavan Mani is looking into the strong differences of opinion between him and arrested actor Dileep, a few days before the former’s death.

There are hints that Mani also had investment in Dileep-owned D-Cinemas theatre complex in Chalakkudy. But after its inauguration, both strained their relationship.

The CBI has got the information that it was Mani who introduced the plot to Dileep and one who paid the advance amount. Mani had told his close friends that the complex would be known as DM Cinemas (D for Dileep, M for Mani) . There are also allegations that a portion of the plot where the complex was built belonged to government.
