KOCHI: Reports say that advocate Prateesh Chacko who gave legal aide to Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the case of the actress getting attacked in Kochi, maybe taken into custody soon for questioning.

Meanwhile the police have intensified the search for Dileep’s manager Appunni who is now absconding.

The police are trying to get these two into their custody at the circumstance that Dileep is not cooperating with the questioning.

In the meantime, Dileep is trying to get a bail before Appunni gets arrested. The counsel who represents Dileep confirmed that they would move High Court on Monday itself for the actor’s bail. Reports say that if the HC doesn’t grant bail, his counsel is thinking of moving the Supreme Court for the same.

The police says that Appunni also is involved in the conspiracy behind the attack of the actress. The investigating team also suspects it’s Appunni who handed over the advance of the quotation amount to Pulsar Suni. Nevertheless, to confirm this the police will have to question both Dileep and Appunni together, and the investigating team suspects that it is to avoid this questioning together that Appunni has gone into hiding.

Also, Pulsar Suni had given a statement that he handed over the mobile phone used to capture the images of the attack of the actress to advocate Prateesh Chacko. Hence the investigating team thinks it is crucial to question the advocate also.
