In the film to be directed by actor Salim Kumar, Jayaram will be the hero. The shoot of the film will start on September 20. This will be Salim Kumar's second directorial venture.

Salim Kumar's first film Karutha Joodhan had reached the theatre this month. Salim Kumar himself played the lead in the film. Through this film, Salim Kumar became the State film award winner for best scenarist last year.

Now, his new film has the speciality that he is making it with another actor in the lead. Salim Kumar, who has acted in more than 250 films, has also won the best actor award (State) for his acting in the film Adaminte Makan Abu.

By the way, Jayaram’s film due for release is Akasha Mittayi, directed by Tamil star Samudrakani. This is the remake of Tamil film Appal, directed by Samudrakani himself in Tamil. Varalakshmi Sharath Kumar is the heroine. Iniya, Irshadh and Nandana are other stars in the film.

In the Tamil film Party, directed by Venkit Prabhu, too, Jayaram is doing the main role.
